Superstar Allu Arjun has landed in Tokyo ahead of the highly awaited Japanese release of his blockbuster film Pushpa: The Rule, which is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on January 16.
Marking a significant phase in the film’s international campaign, the actor’s visit underlines the makers’ focus on expanding the franchise’s global reach.
Sharing his arrival with fans, Allu Arjun posted a postcard-style image on his official Instagram account that showcased Tokyo’s stunning skyline.
Featuring the word ‘Tokyo’ prominently, the image quickly generated buzz online and reflected the growing excitement around the film’s overseas debut.
Earlier, Geek Pictures India, the official distributors of Pushpa: The Rule in Japan, revealed the release details through an enthusiastic post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Taking to X, Geek Pictures India posted, “Indian Cinema’s Industry Hit blazes into Japan in full force! Pushpa Raj takes over Japan on 16th January, 2026, taking the wildfire across borders and seas🔥.”
Adding to the excitement, Rashmika Mandanna shared the Japanese trailer of the film on her social media platforms.
“Konnichiwa, Japan!! 💛 Aaaand the wildfire is officially going global..Pushpa lands in Japan on 16th Jan 2026.. are you ready??😄🔥,” she further posted.
Allu Arjun recently penned a heartfelt birthday message for Pushpa director Sukumar on social media.
Describing the occasion as a life-changing day, the actor went on to share a behind-the-scenes photograph from the sets of the film.
Expressing deep gratitude, he credited Sukumar for transforming his career and also acknowledged the director’s lasting impact on his professional journey.
