Ajay Devgn To Host New Crime Patrol Season Based On Real Cases

Actor Ajay Devgn is preparing to appear as the host of the latest instalment of the popular crime series Crime Patrol – Crime Ka Current Season.

Devgn said the programme caught his attention because its episodes draw from real criminal cases and portray situations that can occur in ordinary surroundings. He pointed out that certain stories can be particularly unsettling because they involve circumstances and individuals whom people might not normally associate with criminal activity.

The actor said the programme demonstrates the persistence and effort that investigators devote to resolving criminal cases.

According to Devgn, the series does more than narrate dramatic incidents, as it gives audiences a closer look at the process of uncovering crimes. He described the experience of working with the show as an eye-opener that could encourage viewers to remain more alert.

Devgn highlighted the importance of staying vigilant and exercising judgement when dealing with people in everyday life. He said the lessons emerging from such cases could benefit youngsters, families and older members of society alike.

Through his hosting role, Devgn will introduce viewers to crime stories based on real incidents while examining the circumstances surrounding each case and the investigations undertaken afterwards.

IANS first reported Devgn’s association with the upcoming season on August 10 and revealed that the actor had already filmed 15 episodes.

A source familiar with the project said the producers would decide whether Devgn continues for the remaining episodes after assessing audience response and television ratings.

The source confirmed that actor Rajesh Tailang has been brought in to present additional episodes of the new season.

The upcoming edition aims to combine crime-based narratives with messages encouraging viewers to remain cautious, informed and aware of potential risks.
