Amitabh Bachchan reviews Abishek Bachchan's film Ghoomer
On August 18, theatres will screen the movie Ghoomer, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher. A physically challenged woman who wants to play cricket for her country is being mentored by Junior Bachchan. Additionally, this gives his character new life and hope.
Amitabh Bachchan, the actor and father of Abhishek, wrote a review of the movie and expressed his thoughts after watching it twice on his blog. It’s interesting to note that Amit Ji will also make a brief cameo appearance in the movie.
On Monday evening, Amitabh Bachchan posted a review of his son’s movie on his own blog. He admitted that the movie brought him to tears both times he watched it in one day. He stated, “So yes, I saw Ghoomer back to back twice.. Sunday afternoon.. and then at night again.. and the verdict is beyond mention.. simply incredible.. eyes have been in the aqua flow from the very first frame.. and when the progeny is involved, they flow copiously.. and each reaction has some wonder in their thoughts, words, and deeds.. each notices something that is so endearing and appealing.”
Amit Ji also applauded the film’s director for skillfully conveying a complicated tale in an understandable way. “The emotions relate to, yes, the game of cricket and the story of a girl and her aspirations, but it is really the feel of the depiction and its impress upon not just the game but of the effect of family, of the mother, of what middle India stands for in our lives. It is the simplicity of the way the narration occurs. It is the deftness with which R Balki has knitted before us, in the simplest of ways, a most complex idea.

Amit Ji mentioned a sentence from the movie and appreciated the dialogue composition for conveying a universal experience. “Simply brilliant in the writing and in articulating what everyone of us has encountered in our lives,” he added. “I know what a loser feels and experiences; I want to know what a winner feels and experiences.
