Actress Hina Khan Advocates For Organic Living Amidst Chemotherapy Battle

Actress Hina Khan, currently undergoing chemotherapy for Stage Three breast cancer, has taken to social media to promote organic living and share glimpses of her personal journey. With a substantial following of 20 million on Instagram, Khan recently posted an update from her home, showcasing her home-grown turmeric plant.

In a video shared on her Instagram stories, Khan proudly displayed the turmeric plant she has been cultivating, captioning it: “Homegrown pure haldi in making #GoOrganic.” The actress has been vocal about her commitment to organic practices during her treatment.

In addition to her gardening efforts, Khan offered a glimpse into her daily life with a video of a meal she enjoyed, which she described with the caption: “Thani daar chochwor.” Another story featured her engaging in prayer with a Tasbih, and she also shared a look at her dinner, which included a dish of ‘shorshoi bata #mustardfish.’

Khan, best known for her role as Akshara in the popular TV show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,’ revealed her breast cancer diagnosis on June 28. Despite her health challenges, she continues to remain active in her career and personal advocacy.

The actress has a diverse portfolio, having participated in reality shows such as ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8’, ‘Bigg Boss 11’, and ‘Bigg Boss 14’. She has also appeared in films like ‘Hacked’, ‘Wishlist’, and the short film ‘Smartphone’. Recently, she made her Punjabi film debut with ‘Shinda Shinda No Papa’, alongside Gippy Grewal, and has the film ‘Country of Blind’ in the pipeline.

Khan’s recent social media activity not only highlights her personal resilience but also her dedication to living a healthy, organic lifestyle amidst her ongoing battle with cancer.
