Stock market closed: Nifty Closed with a Decline after heavy Fluctuations

Stock market closed: There were huge fluctuations in the market on the budget day. The Sensex climbed 158 points to close at 59.708. The Nifty closed down 46 points at 17,616 and the Bank Nifty closed down 142 points at 40,513. 9 out of 12 shares of Nifty Bank closed in the red and 3 closed in the green mark. In the Nifty 50, 23 stocks closed in the green and 27 in the red. Buying was seen in 16 stocks of Sensex while selling was seen in 14. Buying was seen in IT, FMCG, and metal stocks. There was pressure on banking, pharma, and realty stocks. Selling was seen in oil, gas, and power stocks.
