Stock Market closed: Market closed with a fall on the second day of the trading week

Stock Market closed: Nifty NIFTY FINANCIAL SERVICES On the day of expiry, selling was seen in the market. Nifty closed with a decline for the 8th consecutive day. After about 4 years, pressure was seen in Nifty for the 8th consecutive session. Nifty closed down 89 points at 17,304, Nifty Bank down 38 points at 40,269 and Sensex closed down 326 points at 58,962. Of the 50 Nifty stocks, 33 closed in the red and 17 in the green. Out of 12 Nifty Bank stocks, 7 closed in red and 5 in green. Buying in 10 stocks of Sensex while selling in 20. After 5 sessions of decline, recovery was seen in midcaps. Selling was seen in Pharma, Energy, Metal, and IT stocks.
