Stock market closed: After two days of decline, the market closed with great speed

Stock market closed: The market bounced back after two days of decline and closed with an increase today. Nifty closed up 150 points at 17,871, Nifty Bank up 47 points at 41,538 and Sensex up 377 points at 60,664. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 38 closed at the green mark and 12 in the red mark. Out of 12 shares of Nifty Bank, 7 closed in green mark and 5 closed in red mark. 24 Sensex stocks were bought while 6 were sold. Today the banking index closed flat. Midcap, smallcap, energy, and infra stocks saw gains. Good buying was seen in metal, IT, and pharma stocks.
