PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the wildlife conservation, rescue, and rehabilitation project during his visit to Gujarat. He shared his experience on X, highlighting the plight of rescued elephants.

Modi wrote, “At Vantara, I saw an elephant that was a victim of an acid attack. Another elephant, blinded by its own Mahout, was receiving care. A third was hit by a speeding truck. How can people be so careless and cruel? Let’s focus on kindness towards animals.”
