Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd (NSE: SERVOTECH), a leading name in India’s solar solutions industry, has won a landmark contract for a 7.8 MW grid-connected solar rooftop project from the Rangiya Division of the Northeast Frontier Railway.
Valued at ₹336 million, the contract includes a comprehensive five-year Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) and Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (CAMC) covering multiple buildings within the division.
This project marks a significant milestone in the Indian Railways’ journey towards sustainability and low-carbon operations.
The installation of 7.8 MW of solar capacity is likely to significantly reduce the railway division’s carbon footprint.
By harnessing clean, renewable energy, the Northeast Frontier Railway will enhance operational efficiency while advancing its commitment to environmental responsibility.
