Jio True 5G: Now Services commence in Tamil Nadu After Assam and Uttarakhand

Jio True 5G: After Assam and Uttarakhand entry now Jio kicks off its True 5G services in Tamil Nadu being the first & the only operator to launch 5G services in the state. Now Jio True 5G is operating in 21 states of India covering 101 cities across the country.

Chennai, January 11, 2023: Reliance Jio today announced the launch of its True 5G services in Tamil Nadu from Chennai. Jio True 5G is rolling out at a rapid pace and is the only 5G service to be present in Chennai delivering transformational benefits of this technology to Jio users.

Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services of Tamil Nadu, Thiru T Mano Thangraj inaugurated Jio True 5G in Chennai. Now Jio True 5G services will be available in six key cities in Tamil Nadu.

Now six key cities across Tamil Nadu will be experiencing True 5G services from today on. People in Chennai, Koimbtoor, Madurai, Tiruchirapalli, Salem, Hosur, and Vellore will enjoy the services which will witness more cities having the services in the state.

With 5G, every individual, including students and businessmen, IT and healthcare services, and sectors like agriculture, education, medicine, information technology & manufacturing will benefit from new opportunities and additional employment. 5G will also enable citizens and government to remain connected on a real-time basis and will also improve the implementation and efficiency of government schemes for the last mile user.

Being the only operator in the state, Jio has a robust network coverage across Tamil Nadu, right from the state capital, Chennai to five more cities of the state.
