Gautam Adani And Dr Priti Adani Visit Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram In South Gujarat During Navratri

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani and Adani Foundation Chairperson Dr Priti Adani visited Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur (SRMD) in South Gujarat on Sunday during Navratri to seek blessings from Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji.

“I seek the blessings of Maa Durga this Navratri and reflect on the values that guide my life. My visit to Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram reinforces a thought I have always held close: Seva Hi Saadhana Hai. I pray for the humility to serve and the strength to make a difference in the lives of others,” Gautam Adani said.

During their meeting, Gurudevshri highlighted the connection between spiritual practice, or saadhana, and selfless service, or seva. He encouraged using personal resources and opportunities for the greater good.

The couple attended a satsang at Raj Sabhagruha, the Mission’s meditation and spiritual discourse complex. Gurudevshri spoke about the purpose of human life and the value of spiritual discipline.

Gautam Adani also interacted with young Mission members, including students and professionals involved in social initiatives.

Focus on Women’s Welfare and Healthcare

Dr Priti Adani visited the Shrimad Rajchandra Sarvamangal Centre of Excellence for Women, where she met tribal women participating in skills training, livelihood and entrepreneurship programmes.

She also visited Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital and Research Centre and joined the distribution of medical aids to children with disabilities. At the Mission’s Jinmandir, she offered prayers to Bhagwan Mahavir.

Gautam Adani expressed interest in exploring partnerships with Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care (SRLC), the Mission’s humanitarian arm. Dr Priti Adani also discussed potential cooperation on vision care, an area aligned with the Adani Foundation’s work.

Founded in 1994 by Gurudevshri, SRMD draws inspiration from Jain spiritual master Shrimad Rajchandraji, revered as Mahatma Gandhi’s spiritual mentor.

The 355-acre ashram serves as its international headquarters, while the Mission operates more than 142 centres across six continents.

SRLC works across healthcare, education, humanitarian assistance, animal care and environmental welfare, and has reached more than 33 million people worldwide.
