GalaxEye Notions With IdeaForge To Create Radar For Armed Forces

Space start-up located in Bengaluru GalaxEye has collaborated with ideaForge, a drone manufacturing company, to create a specialized radar for the armed forces that can see through dense forests and fog.

The UAV FOPEN (Foliage Penetration) Radar will assist the armed forces in meeting the special demands of the missions including piercing dense foliage, ensuring seamless surveillance while overcoming obstacles.

“Under this collaboration, ideaForge will contribute its expertise in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology, skillfully blending it with GalaxEye’s state-of-the-art Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) technology”, the statement reads.

It went on to say, ”Under this collaboration, ideaForge will contribute its expertise in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology, skillfully blending it with GalaxEye’s state-of-the-art Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) technology”.

It was stated that seeing under foliage and through fog was one of the security forces’ needs.

CEO of ideaForge, Ankit Mehta, stated, “‘We are excited to partner with GalaxEye to develop cutting-edge solutions in aerial surveillance and mapping, which will greatly enhance the capabilities of our security forces and aid them in their endeavors to guard the nation against existing and future threats”.

“This technology will greatly enhance the ability to detect illegal activities, monitor the movement of any unauthorized individuals, enable counterinsurgency operations, and track various illicit operations”, the statement continued.

According to the statement, this technology will considerably improve the ability to detect unlawful activities, monitor the movement of any unauthorized personnel, enable counterinsurgency operations, and track other illicit operations.

As per the company, this Foliage Penetrating UAV Radar system would overcome impediments like clouds, fog, smoke, mist camouflage nets, and dense tree canopy foliage, which frequently impede surveillance missions.

The agreement also calls for the creation of a high-resolution 3D image foliage-penetrating radar.

“When mounted on a UAV, this radar will function as an all-weather surveillance payload that can identify objects obscured by foliage or camouflage by providing tactical real-time ground photography”, the statement added.

The Co-founder, and CEO of GalaxEye, Suyash Singh, stated, “Today, technology is limited to monitoring technologies only”.

Mr. Singh went on to say, “Adding this new dimension to our SAR technology, in partnership with ideaForge’s expertise, will empower security agencies with unparalleled unprecedented advantages in challenging operational scenarios with minimal operations effort”.
