From Free Training To Jobs: 14 Padri Youths Secure Flipkart Roles

The Adani Skill Development Centre in Padri, Mirzapur, is helping young people gain skills and access employment opportunities.

Supported by the Adani Foundation, the centre provides free vocational training to local youth.

As part of the initiative, 14 trainees undergoing the Domestic Data Entry Operator course have secured positions at Flipkart in Haryana. They will work as Associates or Data Entry Operators.

The selected candidates will work eight hours a day for 26 working days. They will receive a monthly CTC ranging from ₹19,777 to ₹21,553.

The company will also provide one meal, one tea and snack break, and transport between their homes and the workplace. Trainees will not pay for these facilities.

During the selection programme, Usha Mishra of the Adani Foundation, Gram Pradhan Ram Sagar Bharti of Thanapur, Gram Pradhan Ram Singh Rana of Hinouti, Sudhanshu Mishra, Centre Coordinator at the Adani Skill Development Centre, and Sumit Vajpai presented offer letters to the selected trainees. They also wished the candidates success in their careers.

The trainees’ parents, including Sunil Rai, Poonam Devi, Prashant Yadav, Reshma Devi, Rajendra Prasad, Premshankar and Ramlal, attended the programme.

Abhay, Praveen, Manisha, Sweta Panchdev and Ajay were also present.

Trainees and their parents appreciated the Adani Foundation and the Adani Skill Development Centre for connecting young people with skill training and employment opportunities.

The parents encouraged youth to acquire new skills, pursue available opportunities and become self-reliant.

The Adani Foundation said skill development improves employability while strengthening young people’s confidence and independence. It continues to provide market-oriented training and employment opportunities to local youth.
