Expert Dojo Launches India-Focused Accelerator; Pledges $100K Investment In Early-Stage Startups

Expert Dojo, a Southern California-based international venture capital firm, has launched a new accelerator cohort exclusively for Indian startups.

The firm has pledged to invest $100,000 each in more than 10 early-stage Indian ventures in the current fiscal year.

Applications Open For Tech-Focused Startups

The accelerator program, which is currently accepting applications, targets scalable and technology-driven startups.

While broadly sector-agnostic, the cohort will focus on ventures in AI, electric vehicles, fintech, and B2B sectors, the company announced in a statement.

Expert Dojo To Gain Capital, Mentorship & Global Network Access

In addition to funding, selected startups will benefit from Expert Dojo’s global investor network, one-on-one mentorship, and growth support.

The program emphasises refining go-to-market strategies and accelerating the path to Series A funding.

This initiative follows Expert Dojo’s earlier launch of a $15 million India-dedicated fund, aimed at backing 20–25 startups by FY 2026.

The firm’s increased activity in India underlines its confidence in the country’s innovation ecosystem.

VC Firm Bets On Indian Entrepreneurship

“India is not just a market for us, it’s a priority,” said Ashutosh Kumar, General Partner at Expert Dojo. “We see a powerful wave of innovation emerging from tier-1 cities to remote corners of the country, led by founders who understand real problems on the ground.”

Kumar added that the $15 million fund represents more than a financial commitment; it signals strong faith in Indian entrepreneurship and its global potential.

Expert Dojo’s Global Track Record

Founded in 2018, Expert Dojo has invested in nearly 300 startups worldwide and currently manages assets worth $70 million.

The India accelerator marks a strategic step in the firm’s plan to support promising ventures in one of the world’s fastest-growing startup ecosystems.
