Adani University celebrated its 2nd Convocation Ceremony on Saturday, awarding degrees to 87 postgraduate students, including three meritorious medallists.
The event brought together families, faculty, governing body members, industry leaders, and guests at the University Auditorium in Shantigram.
Dr Priti G Adani, President of Adani University and Chairperson of the Adani Foundation, presided over the ceremony and conferred degrees upon 79 MBA (Infrastructure Management) and 8 M Tech (Construction Engineering & Management) graduates.
In her address, Dr Adani highlighted the evolving landscape of India’s infrastructure and the growing importance of sustainability, digital transformation, and people-centric systems. She urged graduates to focus on creating infrastructure that enhances health, safety, and quality of life rather than merely emphasising speed or scale.
“Progress will no longer be measured only by speed, scale or efficiency but also by how well our citizens live,” Dr Priti Adani stated.
She further encouraged students to embrace interdisciplinary thinking, pursue application-oriented research, and contribute to India’s rise with purpose and ethics.
Savi S Soin, President of Qualcomm India, delivered the Convocation Address and lauded India’s rapid progress in advanced technologies, including semiconductors, AI, and digital infrastructure.
He stressed the importance of collaboration between academia and industry, highlighting that Adani University’s multidisciplinary approach equips graduates to lead innovation and address real-world challenges.
Dr Adani also outlined plans for a new innovation-led campus to expand research, collaboration, and industry engagement.
Established in 2022, Adani University has emerged as a hub for future-ready education, offering engineering, technology, and business programmes while integrating skill development, entrepreneurship, and transdisciplinary research.
The ceremony concluded with a commemorative group photograph, marking a proud milestone for the graduating class.
