India will celebrate the 90th birth anniversary of one of the greatest business tycoons and the founder of Reliance Industries Dhirajlal Hirachand Ambani, who is popularly known as Dhirubai Ambani. Reliance Industries have paved the path of success in the sector of petrochemicals, communications, power and textiles.

His Dreams Into Reality

According to a report by Fortune 500, Reliance Industries has been the biggest exporters in India and the first privately owned Indian company.
In the early 1950s, Ambani started his career as a clerk at A. Besse & Co., was the largest transcontinental trading firm east of Suez. He learned basics of trading, accounting and other business skills. In 1958, he returned to Indian and settled in Bombay (Mumbai).
During the late 1950s, Ambani established his business in trading species in the name of Reliance Commercial Corporation. The establishment sooner turned into a path of reaching the pinnacle of success. He followed several strategies to offer high-quality products and accepts smaller profits, which helped the company to grow quickly and established its first mill in 1966.

Despite of a backlash from nationalized banks in 1977, Ambani took Reliance public to clear the vision of the company throughout the nation. Ahead of it, founder of Reliance, Dhirubai Ambani was credited with introducing the stock market to the average investors in Indian.
Moreover, numerous attended the Reliance annual meets held in stadiums and broadcasted on televisions. Ambani worked to be an inspiration for the rest of the world. He said, “If you work with determination and with perfection, success will follow.”

Ahead of his retirement, in mid-1980s, He handed over his company to his sons Mukesh Ambani & Anil Ambani. The founder of Reliance Industries took his last breath at the age of 69.
From being a part of a small family and turning himself into a business tycoon, Ambani wished to see the globe rising to its peak of success and development. To see the dreams of Ambani’s come true his son Mukesh Ambani, established Reliance Foundation, an Indian Non-Profit Organization in 2010. To dedicate a tribute the NGO was formerly known as Dhirubai Ambani Foundation.
