India’s textile sector continues to gain recognition as a dependable sourcing destination for global companies.
The country’s 5F vision—Farm to Fibre, Fabric, Fashion, and Foreign Markets has played a significant role in positioning India as a sustainable and reliable partner for global textile firms. The ‘Bharat Tex 2025′ event, currently taking place in New Delhi, showcases this growing influence.
Running from February 14 to February 17, ‘Bharat Tex 2025’ presents a comprehensive view of India’s textile ecosystem.
The event covers the full spectrum of the textile value chain, from raw materials and fibers to finished products, technical textiles, home furnishings, and high-end fashion. It highlights India’s capabilities in both traditional and cutting-edge textile manufacturing.
Union Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh emphasized that ‘Bharat Tex 2025’ reflects resilient global value chains and promotes textile sustainability.
The event is organized by a consortium of 12 Textile Export Promotion Councils and supported by the Ministry of Textiles. It has drawn global attention, positioning India at the forefront of textile trade discussions.
The expo has attracted over 5,000 exhibitors and participants from more than 120 countries, underscoring India’s growing role in the global textile market.
With participation from leading textile manufacturers, global retail giants, and key industry associations, the event fosters high-value trade discussions and partnerships.
In addition to the vast exhibition space, the event features over 70 conference sessions. These sessions will cover crucial industry topics such as global trade shifts, technical textiles, AI-driven manufacturing, and sustainable fashion.
Top international speakers, industry veterans, and policymakers will share their insights, making ‘Bharat Tex 2025’ a key platform for forward-thinking discussions.
This year’s event focuses on two main themes: resilient global value chains and textile sustainability. It includes a variety of activities, such as a large-scale trade fair, a global textiles conference, seminars, CEO roundtables, and B2B and G2G meetings.
The expo is a testament to the textile industry’s past achievements, current developments, and future innovations.
Alongside the main event, related exhibitions covering accessories, garment machinery, dyes, chemicals, and handicrafts are being held until February 15 at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida. This adds further depth to the comprehensive showcase of India’s textile capabilities.
‘Bharat Tex 2025’ is setting a new benchmark for textile trade and collaboration, positioning India as a key player in the global textile landscape.
