Adani Mundra Airport Opens New Air Connectivity With Star Air

Adani Mundra Airport on Tuesday launched its first scheduled commercial flight services, marking a major milestone in the transformation of Kutch into a fully integrated multi-modal logistics and business hub.

The airport introduced the new connectivity in partnership with Star Air, beginning operations with direct services to Mumbai and Goa.

The initiative aims to strengthen trade, commerce, logistics and tourism by creating faster and more efficient travel links.

Star Air will also connect Mundra with Hindon, Surat, Belagavi, Bengaluru, Kolhapur and Nanded, expanding the region’s aviation network and improving accessibility.

The new air services will create an express transport corridor and significantly reduce travel time. They will support the expanding economic activity around Mundra, India’s largest private port.

Developed under Adani Group’s infrastructure model, Mundra Airport features a 1,900-metre runway capable of handling a wide range of passenger and cargo aircraft.

The facility includes a modern terminal equipped with multiple check-in counters, passenger lounges, spacious parking areas, a food court and accessibility features such as wheelchair assistance and dedicated drop-off zones.

The airport will provide a crucial last-mile connectivity link for trade flows moving through Mundra Port and the operational multi-product Mundra Special Economic Zone (SEZ).

This integration is expected to improve supply-chain efficiency and support both domestic and international commerce.

Adani Group stated that the project creates strong synergy between its port and aviation businesses.

The company believes the airport will accelerate industrial development, enhance tourism and strengthen Kutch’s position as a key economic gateway.

The initiative also draws upon Adani Group’s experience in operating major airports across India, including Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Thiruvananthapuram, Mangaluru and Guwahati.
