Adani Group Powers India’s First Pickleball League Ahead Of Debut Season

The Adani Group has partnered with the Indian Pickleball League (IPBL) as the Powered By partner for its debut season. The collaboration brings together Adani’s strong sports ecosystem and IPBL’s dynamic league format to push pickleball’s growth across India.

The league, recognised by the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, is India’s only official national pickleball league.

The IPBL will make its debut from December 1-7, 2025. The inaugural edition will take place at the KD Jadhav Indoor Hall at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in New Delhi.

The league will feature city-based teams and top players from India and abroad. The organisers aim to offer a fast-paced, competitive, and TV-friendly format that appeals to new-age sports audiences.

Rising Sport Revolution

The Adani Group continues to strengthen India’s sports foundation. The company builds grassroots programs, supports young talent, and creates platforms for athletes to shine.

The IPBL shares the same goal. The league wants to elevate one of India’s fastest-growing sports and offer professional opportunities to young players.

This partnership aligns both organisations toward one mission: expanding pickleball’s reach nationwide.

Sameer Pathak, President-Pickleball World Rankings, welcomed the association. He said that the Adani Group’s commitment to Indian sports perfectly matches IPBL’s ambition.

He added that the league aims to give pickleball the visibility, structure, and momentum it deserves. Pathak believes the partnership will shape a league that reflects India’s youthful energy and sporting potential.

Sanjay Adesara, Chief Business Officer, Adani Sportsline, said that Adani is proud to support IPBL’s first season.

He described pickleball as one of India’s fastest-growing sports. He said the collaboration highlights Adani’s commitment to developing emerging sports and building strong sporting ecosystems. Adesara expressed confidence that IPBL can grow nationwide and inspire new athletes.

Pickleball’s rise in India mirrors its global expansion. India’s strong performance at the Pickleball World Cup 2025 in Florida accelerated its popularity.

The country secured 25 medals, eight gold, eight silver, and nine bronze, and finished seventh overall. India was the only Asian nation in the top 10.

Now, with the Adani Group on board, the Indian Pickleball League enters its first season with confidence.

The organisers aim to offer a contemporary, exciting league that appeals to modern India while building a long-term, stable ecosystem.

They want to boost pickleball’s presence nationwide and establish it as a major emerging sport.
