Adani Group Eyes Bigger Future With Record Growth & Purpose-Led Expansion

Addressing shareholders at the 33rd Annual General Meeting of Adani Enterprises Ltd, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani delivered a rousing message of determination, saying, “The greatest chapters of our story are still ahead.”

Reflecting on the Group’s progress despite challenges, he declared, “True leadership is not built in sunshine—it is constructed in the fire of crisis.”

Despite ongoing scrutiny, Adani reaffirmed the Group’s global standards in governance and a non-negotiable approach to compliance.

“We live in a world where negativity often echoes louder than truth,” he said, while underscoring confidence in India’s legal and regulatory frameworks.

Adani highlighted robust financials for FY25. Group-level revenues stood at ₹2,71,664 crore, with adjusted EBITDA reaching ₹89,806 crore—a year-on-year increase of 8.2 per cent.

The Net Debt-to-EBITDA ratio remained healthy at 2.6x.

The Adani Group expects to invest a record-breaking $15–20 billion annually over the next five years.

Adani emphasised that the Group is not merely investing in itself but actively building India’s infrastructure and future possibilities.

Revolutionising healthcare & education

Adani also spotlighted the Group’s ₹60,000 crore philanthropic commitment made on his 60th birthday, aimed at reshaping healthcare, education, and skilling.

The ‘Adani Healthcare Temples’—two upcoming 1,000-bed medical campuses in Ahmedabad and Mumbai—will integrate hospitals, research centres, wellness spaces, and medical colleges.

Mayo Clinic is guiding the design of these AI-powered, patient-centric facilities.

Simultaneously, a ₹2,000 crore skill university is underway in Mundra to empower India’s youth.

“Through Schools of Excellence, global certifications, and partnerships with ITEES Singapore and IGCC, we aim to build an industry-ready workforce,” said Adani.

Cultural service & spiritual engagement

Reflecting on the Group’s values, Adani spoke about the Group’s service during the Maha Kumbh Mela.

Through its partnership with ISKCON, the Adani Group provided Mahaprasad Seva—free meals to lakhs of devotees.

Over 5,000 employees volunteered, exemplifying the Group’s spirit of service.

“At the Triveni Sangam, I had the honour of performing Ganga Aarti with my family,” he recalled, calling it ‘one of the most moving days of my life’.

Concluding with a message of national vision, Adani stated, “A nation’s future is not written in policy documents but in the risks its entrepreneurs dare to take.”

He underscored that the Group is “not laying concrete, but conviction—ports that ship hope and grids that light up futures.”

“History should remember us not for our balance sheet, but for our backbone,” he affirmed, positioning the Adani Group as a symbol of resilience and purpose in India’s transformation journey.
