Adani Group Clinches Top QCFI Honour; Signals Corporate Muscle In India’s Quality Push

The Adani Group has secured a major institutional endorsement of its operational philosophy after receiving the prestigious ‘QCFI Best Supporting Organisation (Private Sector)’ award at the 39th National Convention on Quality Concepts (NCQC) 2025, held in Greater Noida.

The recognition places the conglomerate at the centre of India’s expanding quality and productivity movement, a domain increasingly linked with competitiveness, governance credibility, and long-term economic strength.

NCQC 2025: A National Quality Platform

Organised by the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) from December 19 to 22, the convention emerged as one of the largest quality-focused gatherings in the country.

The event drew nearly 12,000 delegates from more than 600 organisations, cutting across manufacturing, infrastructure, services, and public institutions.

With 2,388 case studies presented by 35 QCFI chapters, NCQC 2025 became a national showcase of process innovation, workforce engagement, and continuous improvement.

QCFI, which operates in affiliation with the Union of Japanese Scientists and Engineers (JUSE), awarded Adani Group for its sustained institutional support to quality circles and workplace excellence.

The citation acknowledged the Group’s role in embedding structured problem-solving and safety leadership across its diverse businesses. It also recognised the Group’s deployment of innovation frameworks spanning energy, logistics, infrastructure, and resources.

Senior Adani leadership framed the recognition as validation of a deeper organisational culture rather than a standalone achievement.

Anil Sardana, Group Services Head, Business Excellence, stated that the award reflects a mindset where quality operates as a strategic driver, not a compliance checkbox. He emphasised that the Group treats excellence as a lived discipline that shapes decision-making, execution speed, and resilience across sectors.

Award Ceremony and Representation

The Group received the award during the convention’s inaugural session on December 19.

Bhaskar Sarkar, Joint Group Services Head for Business Excellence, along with Rituraj Mehta, Group Safety Head, and Kaushik Purohit, AWMA Lead, accepted the honour on behalf of the organisation.

Their presence, however, underscored Adani’s emphasis on collective leadership and system-wide accountability.

Politically and economically, the recognition carries broader implications. As India pushes for higher productivity and stronger global manufacturing competitiveness, quality systems increasingly bridge policy ambition with on-ground execution.

They also play a critical role in translating infrastructure-led growth strategies into measurable, reliable outcomes.

By aligning itself with national quality institutions like QCFI, Adani Group positions itself as a private-sector partner in India’s larger governance and industrial transformation.

The NCQC honour signals more than corporate pride. It marks Adani Group’s intent to anchor growth in disciplined processes and skilled human capital.
