Adani Green Energy on Monday reported a 31 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to ₹824 crore for the June quarter, mainly due to increased revenue.
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of ₹629 crore in the same quarter last year, according to a regulatory filing.
The Adani group subsidiary reported a 42 per cent year-on-year rise in energy sales for Q1 FY26, reaching 10,479 million units, surpassing its entire FY22 sales in a single quarter.
The company also recorded strong financial growth, driven by aggressive capacity expansion and superior plant performance.
Revenue from power supply rose 31 per cent to ₹3,312 crore from ₹2,528 crore in Q1 FY25. EBITDA from power supply also increased 31 per cent year-on-year to ₹3,108 crore, with an industry-leading EBITDA margin of 92.8 per cent.
The company’s cash profit rose 25 per cent to ₹1,744 crore during the quarter.
Adani Green Energy attributed the strong performance to greenfield capacity additions of 1.6 GW during the quarter and 4.9 GW over the last year. These additions were primarily in resource-rich areas such as Khavda in Gujarat and Rajasthan.
The company retained its leadership in ESG rankings, securing the top global rank in the FTSE Russell ESG score within the Alternative Electricity subsector. AGEL also received recognition at the Reuters Global Energy Transition Awards 2025.
CEO Ashish Khanna stated that AGEL is firmly on track to achieve its 2030 target of 50 GW renewable capacity, including 5 GW of hydro pumped storage and battery systems. He highlighted the company’s focus on technology, operational excellence, and contribution to India’s energy transition goals.
