Adani Energy Solutions Q1 FY27 Net Profit More Than Doubles To Rs 1,149 Crore

Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) reported strong financial results for the first quarter of FY2026-27, with consolidated net profit more than doubling on the back of robust growth in its transmission business.

The company posted a consolidated net profit of ₹1,149 crore for the quarter ended June 30, compared with ₹513 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Consolidated revenue from operations rose 42.4 per cent year-on-year to ₹9,711 crore from ₹6,819 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year, reflecting strong performance across its core business segments.

The company’s operating performance also improved significantly during the quarter.

EBITDA increased 30 per cent year-on-year to ₹3,008 crore from ₹2,314 crore, supported by higher revenues and improved operational efficiency.

The transmission business remained the primary growth driver, with revenue increasing 52 per cent year-on-year to ₹3,335 crore.

Transmission EBIT also climbed 43 per cent to ₹1,328 crore, driven by stronger operational performance and network expansion.

AESL’s distribution business also delivered steady growth.

Revenue from the segment rose 5 per cent year-on-year to ₹3,520 crore, while distribution EBIT increased 18 per cent to ₹357 crore.

AESL also recorded strong growth in smart metering and energy solutions, while its FY26 adjusted net profit rose 32 per cent to ₹2,393 crore.

The company said it remains focused on expanding transmission, distribution and smart energy infrastructure to support long-term growth.
