Adani Electricity Observes National Electrical Safety Week With Workshops

Adani Electricity is observing National Electrical Safety Week from June 26 to July 2 across its divisions and supply zones, aiming to raise awareness and strengthen electrical safety practices among employees and customers.

Educational workshops promote electrical safety

The company announced that it is conducting a series of workshops and educational programs focused on electrical safety for both employees and the public.

In collaboration with the Adani Foundation, Adani Electricity is also organising dedicated electrical safety workshops for students in BMC schools across Mumbai.

Safety-first culture: Fire Service & National Safety Weeks

Earlier this year, Adani Electricity marked several safety-focused observances.

In April, the company conducted Fire Service Week, organising fire prevention workshops across its power distribution network.

Themed ‘Unite to Ignite, a Fire Safe India’, the initiative stressed the importance of community awareness, education, and preparedness in fire safety.

In March, Adani Electricity marked National Safety Week 2025 to promote high safety standards.

The objective was to encourage widespread adoption of safety practices across its operations and work sites.

Monsoon preparedness boosted through proactive measures

With the monsoon season underway, Adani Electricity has ramped up its disaster management systems to protect its 3.15 million customers in Mumbai.

The company has activated its Central Disaster Control Centre (CDCC), which now functions 24/7 to manage emergencies and ensure rapid response and communication.

Adani Electricity has strategically deployed seven Quick Response Teams (QRTs) throughout the distribution network.

These teams are equipped with tailored recovery and restoration plans designed for monsoon-related challenges.

The company has installed 98 water level sensors in its ADMS to boost flood monitoring at key locations.

These sensors enable early detection and swift mitigation of flood-related electrical hazards.

As Mumbai’s leading power distributor, Adani Electricity continues to prioritise the safety and well-being of its customers and workforce.

The company aims to build a resilient, secure power network through ongoing initiatives and smart infrastructure.
