Adani Electricity Clinches All 15 Gold Awards At QCFI’s Annual Quality Convention

Adani Electricity has achieved an exceptional milestone by securing all 15 Gold awards at the 39th Annual Chapter Convention on Quality Concepts (CCQC-2025), hosted by the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI), Mumbai Chapter.

This marks the second consecutive year in which the company has achieved a clean sweep, underscoring its sustained commitment to quality and operational excellence.

All 15 participating teams from Adani Electricity’s Transmission and Distribution (T&D) divisions earned the prestigious Gold recognition for their case study presentations.

Seven teams represented the Transmission business, while eight teams competed from the Distribution division.

The teams participated across a wide range of rigorous categories, including Six Sigma, Quality Circle, Lean Quality Circle, and Kaizen.

Their projects demonstrated strong innovation, meticulous problem-solving and tangible operational impact.

In a statement, the company highlighted that this historic feat reflects the rapid advancement of its business excellence programme, aligning with the convention’s theme, ‘Quality Concepts for Atmanirbhar Viksit Bharat’.

Recognition for Quality, Innovation, and Impact

Project evaluations were carried out by an expert panel following QCFI’s stringent assessment guidelines.

The judges recognised Adani Electricity’s entries for their outstanding quality standards, innovative approaches, and quantifiable contributions to performance improvement.

A spokesperson from the company said that winning 15 out of 15 Gold awards for two consecutive years is ‘compelling evidence of the collective efforts, unwavering commitment, and continuous focus on improvement demonstrated by our employees across all functions’.

He added that the achievement reflects the organisation’s strong culture of excellence and its dedication to delivering enhanced value to stakeholders.

The recognition, he said, further motivates the company to push the boundaries of quality and innovation.

The convention, held in Mumbai, served as a key platform for quality-driven organisations across India.

CCQC-2025 drew 248 teams and more than 1,200 delegates from 40 leading institutions, including BEL, JSW, CEAT, Tata Steel, Mazagaon Dock, Sun Pharma, Mother Dairy, NTPC, the Indian Navy, and RCF Limited.

Adani Electricity’s standout performance at such a competitive event reinforces its position as an industry leader in quality management and continuous improvement.

As the company continues its Business Excellence journey, the consecutive sweep of Gold awards demonstrates its commitment to innovation, operational efficiency and a future-ready approach to power distribution and transmission.
