18 March 2023: The petrol-diesel prices remain unchanged on 18 March 2023 i.e. Saturday for consecutive eight months.
The finance minister, Nirmala Sitharaman has reduced the excise duty on petrol by Rs 8 per litre and on diesel by Rs 6 per litre across the country on 21st May 2022.

Meanwhile, domestic and commercial LPG cylinder prices were raised by Rs 50 and Rs 350.50, on March 1.
