Janmashtami 2023: Shri Krishna Janmashtami Celebration 6th Or 7th September? know Correct Time And Date

This year, on September 6th, at 3:37 PM, the Ashtami Tithi of the Krishna Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada will commence. This Tithi will continue until 4:14 PM on the following day, September 7th. However, since the Rohini Nakshatra is not present during the night of September 7th, some people are uncertain about the date.

According to the calculation of the Rohini Nakshatra, it will be present from 9:20 AM on September 6th, 2023, until 10:25 AM on September 7th, 2023. Considering the presence of Rohini Nakshatra and the Ashtami Tithi on September 6th, Wednesday, Janmashtami fasting can be observed. On the same night, the celebration of Laddu Gopal’s birth can also be performed.

Muhurat for Laddu Gopal’s Birth Celebration

Laddu Gopal, known as the child form of Lord Shri Krishna, is celebrated with great enthusiasm during the night of Janmashtami. This year, the auspicious muhurat for Laddu Gopal’s birth celebration is from 11:57 PM on September 6th to 12:42 AM on September 7th.

Performing the Parana for Janmashtami

The Parana for Janmashtami can be performed on September 7th, after 6:02 AM, until 12:42 AM. Installing Laddu Gopal at home during the Bhadrapada month while performing the puja of Lord Shri Krishna is considered highly auspicious.
