Despite Confirmation From SPG, New Delhi Police Is Calling The Complaint Of a Drone Flying Near PM’s Residence, Fabricated

In the case of Drones flying near Prime Minister’s residence, the New Delhi Police has left no stone unturned in order to mislead the court. The Chanakyapuri police admitted in their Action Taken report to court that the SPG has confirmed the drone’s flight. However, it has also attempted to claim that the serious complaint was fabricated.

The New Delhi Police Department has been accused of assisting the accused in the case of a drone flying over the Prime Minister’s residence. They did everything they could to mislead the court. Surprisingly, police sat with their eyes closed for six months following complaints in this case. After the drone was confirmed to have flown, the process of calling the incident fabricated began. According to sources, a Special Commissioner of Police rumoured of deals in the suspicious death of actor Satish Kaushik is working to get the case covered up.

Playing with the security of the PM’s residence

In fact, during the Tiranga Festival of Independence last August 13, the Gymkhana Club management organized a yatra. A drone was to be called in for videography. According to reports, the club staffs informed of strict drone ban, citing the security of the Prime Minister’s residence. But Ashish Verma, the then club Secretary, ignored them and had the drone flown. According to sources, the SPG informed the police about the incident and ordered that they take action. A written complaint was also filed of drone and threats at Chanakyapuri police station the following week.

Allegations on Special Commissioner of Police

If sources are to be believed, the police in this case also received the drone flight mobile video footage. However, New Delhi District Police followed Special Commissioner’s instructions to not take action. So surprisingly, Amrita Guguloth, the then-DCP, declared the incident a rumor without conducting an investigation. Shockingly another FIR registered same day by Police in Gymkhana is also closed up by washed up investigation and sealed.

Claims the incident to be fabricated

The Chanakyapuri cops are accused of not even having courage to enter the club to look into the crisis situation. As per Police report even the accused have not been questioned till now. The club management is being accused of intimidating and threatening witnesses during this time, yet the police continued negligence. Most alarming is that Chanakyapuri Inspector Yogendra Kumar claims the drone complaints are fabricated. He claims that neither PCR call nor any complaint regarding drone flying in the police station was made by SPG or by police assigned to VVIP security rehearsal on day of the volations.

Misleading the court

Inspector Yogendra Kumar stated in his report to Patiala House court that the drone was not visible in CCTV footage of club. On February 07, over six months after the serious incident was reported, police wrote letter to the SPG requesting information. Surprisingly, Inspector Yogendra Kumar has accused the SPG itself, citing their reply dated March 02, admitting SPG has confirmed Drone but did not specify where it was flown. His report states that as sufficient location was not provided, the police has again asked SPG for more information.

Police stuck with many questions

The police attempted to claim in one-and-a-half pages of two-page report presented before court that there is no evidence of the drone flying so no action was taken. However, fact that SPG has confirmed drone’s flight was admitted lightly in end, stating SPG must give more information. The question becomes whether the Prime Minister’s security is so unimportant to Delhi Police? How can a Special Commissioner of Police jeopardize PM’s residence security? Surprisingly SHO Chanakyapuri on call, still continues to claim that the drone flying complaints are without any merit as there is no witness or proofs of it.
