White House Says US Is Not Looking For War With Houthis

The United States does not intend to go to war with the Houthis, the White House announced on Tuesday.

White House spokesman John Kirby said, “We are not looking to extend this. The Houthis have a decision to make, and they still have time to make the right one, which is to halt these irresponsible strikes”.

Attacks by the Houthis on ships in the Red Sea have harmed businesses and concerned international governments.

The Houthis claim they are acting in solidarity with the Palestinians.
