Trump Urges Iranians To Seize Power As US Military Campaign Intensifies

US President Donald Trump has implied that the purpose of the ongoing American military operation in Iran is to dismantle the existing ruling establishment.

In a recorded address lasting approximately eight minutes, he presented the strikes as part of a broader push to reshape Iran’s political future.

During his statement, Trump specifically addressed Iran’s security bodies, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the armed forces and national police units.

He noted, “To the members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, the armed forces and all of the police. I say tonight that you must lay down your weapons and have complete immunity, or in the alternative, face certain death,”

He warned, “Lay down your arms. You will be treated fairly with total immunity, or you will face certain death.”

Appeal Directed at Iranian Citizens

The US President also spoke directly to the people of Iran, “To the great, proud people of Iran, I say tonight that the hour of your freedom is at hand. Stay sheltered. Don’t leave your home. It’s very dangerous outside. Bombs will be dropping everywhere.”

Referring to past dissatisfaction expressed by sections of the Iranian population, Trump suggested that earlier calls for American backing had not materialised.

He also asserted that the United States is now providing decisive support through what he termed an overwhelming and powerful force.

Bringing his address to a close, Trump encouraged Iranians, “Now is the time to seize control of your destiny and to unleash the prosperous and glorious future that is close within your reach. This is the moment for action. Do not let it pass.”
