Canadian MP Chandra Arya strongly criticized the Khalistani attack on temple, calling it a severe escalation. “A red line has been crossed by Canadian Khalistani extremists today,” Arya posted on X. “The attack on Hindu-Canadian devotees at the Hindu Sabha temple shows how deep and brazen Khalistani violent extremism has become in Canada.” Arya also voiced concerns about the influence of Khalistani sympathizers within Canadian law enforcement and urged the Hindu-Canadian community to demand greater accountability from political leaders.

Additionally, The recent assault adds to a disturbing trend of anti-Hindu incidents across Canada. Last year, a incident of attacking Hindu temple occurred in Windsor when miscreants drew anti-India graffiti on walls. The act drew swift condemnation from both Canadian and Indian officials. Similar incidents in Mississauga and Brampton have sparked ongoing concerns about religious intolerance within Canada.

This attack also comes amid heightened tensions between Canada and India following Prime Minister Trudeau’s assertion of “credible allegations” linking Indian government agents to the killing of Khalistani separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
