Taiwan on Wednesday said it detected 2 Chinese military aircraft and 7 naval vessels operating around the nation. It was between 6 am on Tuesday to 6 am on Wednesday.
According to the Taiwan Ministry of National Defence, none of the aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait.
In response, the Armed Forces have monitored the situation and responded accordingly.
Taking to X, the Taiwan Ministry of National Defence said, “2 PLA aircraft and 7 PLAN vessels operating around Taiwan were detected up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today. #ROCArmedForces have monitored the situation and responded accordingly.”
Earlier on Tuesday, Taiwan tracked 2 Chinese military aircraft and 6 naval vessels operating around the nation. It was between 6 am on Monday to 6 am on Tuesday.
In response, the Armed Forces have monitored the situation and responded accordingly.
Taking to X, the Taiwan Ministry of National Defence said, “2 PLA aircraft and 6 PLAN vessels operating around Taiwan were detected up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today. We have monitored the situation and responded accordingly.”
Since September 2020, China has increased its use of gray zone tactics. This includes incrementally increasing the number of military aircraft and naval ships operating around Taiwan.
