Joint airstrikes conducted by Syrian and Russian forces have targeted militant positions in the rural areas of Syria’s northwestern provinces of Idlib and Latakia, leading to the deaths of 30 militants, according to local media reports.
The airstrikes specifically targeted sites belonging to extremist rebel groups, as reported by Xinhua and the local media outlet Al-Watan Online, which did not provide further details.
