Russian President Vladimir Putin appreciated Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership at a recent event in Russia. Putin also highlighted India’s significant development steps under PM Modi’s Guidance.
Putin has been in regular touch with PM Modi, so he praised PM Modi’s initiatives like ‘Make In India’ and his forward-thinking vision for the country’s development. Focussing on PM Modi’s dedication to direct India towards a technologically advanced future, Putin Said, “Prime Minister Modi has a similar programme called Make In India. We are also ready to set up our manufacturing operations in India.
“The Indian government, under the Prime Minister’s leadership, has been creating stable conditions, driven by a policy of putting India first. We believe that investing in India is profitable”, he added. Putin further highlighted that Russian oil giant Rosenft has invested $20 billion in India, recently.
The Russian President also praised PM Modi’s economic policies while keeping in mind India’s impressive growth globally. He said, “The Prime Minister is always trying to move India towards this development, towards pursuing high technology, and the results are evident.”
Putin also spotlighted the significance of Russia’s import substitution programme in the context of BRICS” evolution, focussing on the growth of SMEs and the necessity for a rapid dispute resolution mechanism to facilitate smooth business transactions for SMEs in BRICS+ countries, reported.
Russian President further stressed while highlighting India’s success in driving economic expansion and technological innovation, “India represented the highest growth rates among developing nations, and this is something to congratulate PM Modi for.”
President Putin’s remarks on India’s growing economy and strategic focus on high-tech industries came after it was recognized for its dynamic growth. Moreover, the appreciation from the Russian President also underscores the growing bilateral strength between Russia and India.
