Russian Influencer Dies Of Extreme Dieting At The Age Of 39, Used To Support Raw Vegan Diet

Russian influencer, Zhanna Samsonova who talks about Vegan food reportedly died because of an astonishing reason. She used to follow an entirely vegan diet, which does not include any kind of nonvegetarian products like meat, eggs, etc. Apart from this, it also excludes dairy-based food like milk, curd, and honey that we obtain from animals. This is also known as a plant-based diet.

Coming to the reason of death, she died of starvation. She died at the relatively young age of 39. The food-influencer known online as Zhanna D’Art passed away on July 21 after receiving medical attention while on tour in Southeast Asia.

Raw vegan diet might have caused harm to the Russian influencer

She has been eating just raw vegan cuisine for at least four years and constantly advertised it on social media. She only consumed “fruits, sunflower seed sprouts, fruit smoothies, and juices.” The mother of Samsonova said that her daughter passed away from a “cholera-like infection.” Her official cause of death has not yet been disclosed, yet. The cause of her death will be found in a medical report and death certificate, which her family is awaiting.

Her condition was getting worse with time

An unidentified friend told, “A few months ago, in Sri Lanka, she already looked exhausted, with swollen legs oozing lymph.”. “They sent her home to seek treatment. However, she ran away again. When I saw her in Phuket, I was horrified,” the friend added.

Another friend explained, “I lived one floor above her and every day I feared finding her lifeless body in the morning. I convinced her to seek treatment, but she didn’t make it.”

Body-conscious

Zhanna was allegedly motivated by observing “peers” who appeared much older than their actual age, which she attributed to their diets high in junk food. Zhanna had described her rigid eating schedule by saying, “I see my body and mind transform every day.” “I adore the new version of myself and never revert to my old routines.”
