It has been now more than ten months since the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Small to big cities of Ukraine have suffered a lot in the war. Due to heavy shelling and bombing, many cities have literally turned into ruins.
After destroying many areas of Ukraine, Russia has now wreaked havoc in the Ukrainian city of Odessa with a constant drone attack. More than 1.5 million people in and around the city in southern Ukraine are compelled to breath in the dark due to a kamikaze drone attack.
According to sources, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says that after the attack by Iranian drone kamikaze, there is darkness everywhere in the southern Ukrainian city of Odessa and its surrounding areas.
President Volodymyr Zelensky says the talks have been held with Odessa’s power grid operators and it will take about 3 months to restart the grid. According to Kirillo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, Odessa is struggling with power problems. However, electricity is being provided for essential services such as hospitals and maternity homes. But despite this the situation is quite complicated.
On the other hand, Odessa Governor Maxim Marchenko said that the power grid has suffered huge damage due to this drone attack. Seeing this, the people of the city’s Energy Authority have gone on strike. Due to this there is darkness in this area. Responding to this Russian attack, we have shot down 2 of their drones.

Due to this Russian attack, both essential facilities and services in Odessa have come to a standstill. Russia has also fired cruise missiles targeting the main buildings of the Ukrainian cities.
