Accused teens arrested in the case
Russia: 14-year-old girl accused of hiring hit men to kill her mother, Anastasia Milosskaya is arrested by the Russian police. Allegedly, she did the same as her mother was restricting the girl from meeting her boyfriend. Mother’s body was found in a very bad condition. It was dumped in the garbage while being wrapped in plastic. It was clear from the marks on the dead body that she was beaten very hard to death.
According to the media reports, the schoolgirl and a 15-year-old boy have been charged with authorizing the contract killing of her single mother. It is assumed that the boy, who had been residing at the girl’s family’s apartment, is her boyfriend.
Russian police suspect that the couple paid two other teenagers to kill her 38-year-old mother for £3,650 (Rs 3,72,202).
Anastasia, an estate agent by trade, was brutally killed when she got home. Two days later, in the Russian region of Balashikha, her corpse was discovered in the trash after being wrapped in plastic and a mattress. The body was found by a janitor in the rubbish skip who then alerted the police.
An eyewitness said: “She was beaten and strangled, as her whole face was red and swollen.”
The mother allegedly attempted to make the boy leave after he had a negative influence on her daughter. According to the Investigative Committee, the girl and her male friend planned to survive off on her mother’s more than £30,000 in savings.
The boy and the girl are charged with letting the “accomplices” into the flat and being present when the victim was killed. All of the 14 to 17-year-old defendants are charged with either murder or conspiracy to commit murder. They will stay in a youth centre for a month while inquiries are ongoing.
