A remarkable incident has recently surfaced in Henan province, Central China, where a woman’s younger brother made a surprising discovery of 30 brand new iPhone 14s in a dustbin outside the flats. The woman, identified as Chai, has gained widespread appreciation on social media for her quick and responsible actions once she was informed about the situation.
Chai’s brother stumbled upon the iPhones while disposing of garbage in the dustbin on the stairway. Upon finding the phones, he immediately contacted his sister, and together they retrieved the 30 iPhones from the bin. The matter was promptly reported to the police, who further investigated the incident and found an additional iPhone in the dustbin.
According to the South China Morning Post’s report, the police uncovered that the iPhones were accidentally left on the road by a delivery boy named Liu, who is from Henan City. Liu revealed that he had left five boxes, each containing ten new iPhone 14 models, over the dustbin on the street while he was tending to other packages. Unfortunately, he forgot to retrieve them afterwards.

Liu recounted his panic upon realizing the next day that the iPhones were missing, fearing that he could never afford to replace them. His boss reviewed CCTV footage and found that a cleaning lady had taken the iPhones just two hours after Liu left them. However, the woman, unable to recognize the iPhone cases, discarded them and took the cardboard along with her.
The incident has sparked extensive discussions on social media, with many praising Chai and her brother for their responsible actions in recovering the lost iPhones. The story has captivated people’s attention, highlighting the importance of honesty and integrity in such situations.
