Operation Sindoor Outreach: All-Party Delegations Receive Support From World Leaders

Saudi Arabia, Italy, Indonesia, South Africa, France, and others have backed India’s fight against Pakistan-based terrorism, following India’s diplomatic outreach after Operation Sindoor.

The all-party delegations continue to visit capitals worldwide to build consensus against terror sponsorship.

In Riyadh, India’s delegation met Saudi Minister of State Adel Al-Jubeir, who expressed full support for India’s zero-tolerance stance on terrorism.

Delegation leader Baijayant Jay Panda called the talks ‘meaningful’, highlighting the growing partnership between India and Saudi Arabia.

The delegation also engaged with the Saudi Shura Council, emphasising shared interests and cooperation on counter-terrorism.

Dialogue With European & African Nations

In Athens, the delegation held substantive talks with Greece’s Deputy Foreign Minister Tasos Chatzivasileiou.

India’s firm policy against terrorism featured prominently during discussions with the Greek Parliamentary Committee on Defence and Foreign Affairs.

Ashok Mittal of the Aam Aadmi Party noted that these talks strengthen bilateral ties and global security.

Similarly, in Pretoria, South African parliamentarians met with the Indian delegation led by NCP MP Supriya Sule.

They praised India’s new approach of zero tolerance towards terrorism and discussed the impact of the Pahalgam terror attack.

South Africa was one of the first countries to condemn the attack, showing strong solidarity with India’s fight.

Support From Southeast Asia & The Americas

Indonesia extended full backing to India’s fight against terrorism during meetings with Vice Foreign Minister Arief Havas Oegroseno and ASEAN Secretary-General Kao Kim Hourn.

The delegation discussed cooperation to combat terrorism and violent extremism, affirming their condemnation of terrorist acts.

In Europe, Italy offered bilateral cooperation to tackle terrorism, and France reaffirmed its solidarity with India.

French senators agreed that democratic nations must unite to fight terror emanating from Pakistan.

The dialogue included members of the India-France Friendship Group and defence committees.

Further, in Panama and Guyana, Indian delegations received strong assurances of support. Guyana’s President Mohamed Irfaan Ali emphasised deep historical ties and committed to standing with India against terrorism.

The global outreach follows the deadly Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April, which killed 26 people and escalated tensions between India and Pakistan.

India responded with precision strikes on terror camps in Pakistan-administered Kashmir.

Pakistan retaliated with missile attacks on Indian military bases. The military conflict ended after talks on 10 May.

However, India’s diplomatic efforts continue, aiming to isolate terror sponsors and strengthen international resolve.

India’s fight against terrorism has gained unprecedented international backing, signalling growing global awareness of the threat and a united front against terrorist acts.
