Microsoft Will Pay $20M To Settle U.S Allegations
According to the outage tracking website Downdetector.com, Microsoft’s product suite, which includes Word and Excel, was down for more than 15,000 users on Monday. Since the beginning of the year, at least three outages have occurred for Microsoft services.
Outlook, which is used by millions of such companies to ensure efficient functioning, has been reported to have outage issues, according to Downdetector.
“Outlook on the Web is not working,” one user wrote. When trying to access the email site, an error message appears. “Service Unavailable,” it says, followed by: “HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.” “We’re investigating an issue with accessing Outlook on the web. Further details can be found under EX571516 in the admin center,” the company said.
“We’re reviewing our networking systems and recent updates in an effort to identify the underlying root cause of the issue. Additional information can be found in the admin center under EX571516,” Microsoft said in a tweet.
“We’ve identified downstream impacts for Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business. We’re providing full impact details and updates for those services via MO571683. Updates pertaining to Exchange and Outlook on the web will continue to be provided via EX571516,” Microsoft said in the latest tweet.

As Microsoft Outlook is primarily used for the right communication and has systems and processes designed for that communication, the management was facing difficulties assigning work to their employees properly, which kicked off a meme fest on social media about how people can relax in the absence of the communication services.
“Microsoft Outlook bringing it down to start my week is crazy! I thought it was just me,” wrote one user on Twitter.
