Melania Trump, the former first lady, has broken her silence on her husband’s re-election campaign, claiming he has her complete support for another presidential term.
In an interview, Melania Trump said, ”He has my support, and we look forward to restoring hope for the future and leading America with love and strength. My husband achieved tremendous success in his first administration, and he can lead us toward greatness and prosperity once again”.
She stated that if she is given the honor of serving as first lady again, she will continue her work with children. Mrs. Trump went on to say that she would continue to prioritize efforts aimed at children’s well-being and development in order to provide them with the support and resources they need to reach their full potential.
Notably, Donald Trump began his reelection campaign in November 2022, and his wife was present. She hasn’t been seen at any campaign events since then, and she has been significantly absent from her husband’s recent public appearances.
She did, however, accompany her husband to Mar-a-Lago for an Easter Sunday brunch.
Her remarks came just days after reports stated that the former first lady is uncomfortable with her husband’s politics and angry about his prosecution for allegedly making hush-money payments to cover up an extramarital affair.
She was also notably absent from the 2020 campaign trail when her husband ran for reelection against Joe Biden.
