Iran Warns Gulf Hotels Hosting US Troops Could Become Targets

Iran has issued a strong warning to hotel operators in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, cautioning that hosting United States military personnel could render such properties legitimate targets.

The development, reported by the semi-official Fars News Agency, comes amid escalating tensions in the region.

According to the report, US forces have increasingly taken shelter in hotels following Iranian missile strikes and coordinated operations with allied groups targeting American military infrastructure across West Asia.

Authorities warned that any facility accommodating foreign military personnel could face immediate consequences if such activities continue.

Reports further claimed that US personnel have established a presence at civilian locations across the region, including areas near Beirut and Damascus, as well as prominent hotels.

Additionally, US Marines were reportedly relocated to Djibouti International Airport via transit points in Europe.

Earlier, Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi warned Gulf hotels against accepting US troops, alleging that soldiers had vacated military bases and were using civilian premises for cover.

In a post on the social media platform X, he claimed such actions put civilians at risk and urged regional establishments to deny accommodation to military personnel.

The situation follows heightened hostilities after joint strikes by Israel and the United States on Iranian cities, including Tehran.

Iran responded with missile and drone attacks on US and Israeli targets and tightened control over the Strait of Hormuz, disrupting maritime movement linked to both nations.

The developments highlight growing instability in West Asia, raising concerns over civilian safety and the broader regional impact of the ongoing conflict.
