As Pakistan and Turkey sought to malign India’s stance on the Kashmir issue, Anupama Singh, representing India at the UN, swiftly countered their claims. With unwavering resolve, she reiterated that Kashmir is an internal matter for India, firmly rejecting any external interference or attempts to dictate India’s policies. Anupama Singh boldly highlighted Pakistan’s dismal human rights record, exposing its history of fostering terrorism and instability.

Hailing from Patna, Bihar, Anupama Singh’s journey is a testament to her resilience and dedication. With a background in medicine, she pursued MBBS from Patna Medical College before obtaining a Master of Surgery degree from Banaras Hindu University. Transitioning to the diplomatic arena, Anupama Singh joined the Indian Foreign Service in 2014, where she has served with distinction for over nine years.
