With a background in medicine, she pursued MBBS from Patna Medical College before obtaining a Master of Surgery degree from Banaras Hindu University. Transitioning to the diplomatic arena, Anupama Singh joined the Indian Foreign Service in 2014, where she has served with distinction for over nine years.
