Huge Explosion In Milan, Many Cars Caught Fire

On Thursday, the fire brigade said that several cars caught fire in central Milan in northern Italy after an explosion injured one person.

There is no news about the dead.

The explosion came from a van carrying oxygen gas canisters.

TV broadcast footage from Milan’s Porta Romana district showing heavy smells of black smoke and firefighters at the scene.

While the burning vehicles were quickly put out, smoke was still visible from the windows of the surrounding buildings.

The newspaper ‘Corriere della Sera’ reported that the elementary school and the residential building were evacuated.
