Heartbroken American father found daughter’s body in Hamas attack, used phone’s tracking feature to get to her

After a terrorist assault in Israel, a father’s worst nightmare came true when he found his daughter’s lifeless body in a car full of bullets. After Hamas gunmen invaded a music festival on Saturday and killed hundreds of people, Elie Waldman, a wealthy software entrepreneur and the creator of Mellanox, a company that distributes computer network hardware, had hoped that his daughter Danielle, 24, was still alive.

He tracked her down using the Apple Watch and the phone’s tracking features, but all he discovered was a horrifying scene of violence.
He said, “I have witnessed firsthand how she was killed by at least three to five individuals who attacked it from two directions.”

“At least three guns were firing at the car, based on the shells that we have found.”

Palo Alto, California native Danielle had gone to the Nova Festival in southern Israel with her six-year partner, Noam Shai. They perished in the slaughter together with about 260 other victims.
Waldman reported that his daughter and her boyfriend had attempted to flee the mayhem by hopping into a white Toyota hatchback with two or three other young people. However, the terrorists had them surrounded and used AK assault weapons to shoot them.

“They have not caused harm to anyone,” he stated regarding the victims.

Danielle and Noam had just moved into a new flat together, along with their dog. She had met and fallen in love with Noam while serving in the Israeli military.
Her father thought back to their most recent chat, during which she expressed her desire to wed Noam. Waldman said, “Everyone who has met her has loved her……She hasn’t harmed anyone or done anything wrong.”
On Thursday, Danielle and Noam were buried close to each other rather than celebrating their marriage.
