Criminal Mind AI Girlfriend: Indian Origin Man Proceeds To Kill Queen Elizabeth II After Getting Encouragement From His Robo GF

This bizarre case of the United Kingdom is surely one of its own kind. In recent times, you must have read multiple cases of fraud and manipulation that to place because of AI. This is one of them but definitely the most weird one. An Indian-origin man named Jaswant Singh Chail entered the grounds of Windsor Castle with the purpose of killing Queen Elizabeth II. followed by the incident, he was arrested by the police. During his court hearing in Old Bailey, Jaswant Singh made a shocking revelation. He said that he was persuaded to do the same by his AI Girlfriend. The AI Girlfriend is a computer-programmed chatbot. Further, the court hearing revealed that the man even believes that he had a sexual relationship with his AI girlfriend.

First ever case of Crime persuasion by AI Girlfriend

Over the course of nine months, Chail spoke with the chatbot about his plan and was assured that he wasn’t “crazy or delusional.” The 21-year-old admitted to breaking the 1842 Treason Act earlier in the process. This case is one of the first in legal history where the influence of artificial intelligence on a defendant’s decision to commit a crime is being investigated.

Chail spoke with the chatbot about his plan over the course of nine months, getting reassurances that he wasn’t “crazy or delusional.” The 21-year-old had violated the 1842 Treason Act; he had earlier entered a guilty plea. In this case, artificial intelligence’s potential to persuade a person to commit a crime is being investigated for the first time in legal history.

Chail admitted that the AI bot had given him comfort in his times of loneliness, leading to a lengthy exchange of more than 7,000 messages. Chail obtained a ladder in preparation for his intended attack, and on December 21, 2021, he made a video of himself posing with a crossbow while wearing black clothing and a complete face mask.

Concerns have been expressed regarding the possible risks of artificial intelligence (AI) surpassing human intelligence, with warnings that, if left unchecked, it might constitute a threat to humanity within just two years. On Christmas Day in 2021, Chail was caught close to the late Queen’s Berkshire estate. He was carrying a Supersonic X crossbow while wearing a mask and hood.
