An Indian-origin man named Jaswant Singh Chail entered the grounds of Windsor Castle with the purpose of killing Queen Elizabeth II. followed by the incident, he was arrested by the police. During his court hearing in Old Bailey, Jaswant Singh made a shocking revelation. He said that he was persuaded to do the same by his AI Girlfriend. The AI Girlfriend is a computer-programmed chatbot. Further, the court hearing revealed that the man even believes that he had a sexual relationship with his AI girlfriend.
Over the course of nine months, Chail spoke with the chatbot about his plan and was assured that he wasn’t “crazy or delusional.” The 21-year-old admitted to breaking the 1842 Treason Act earlier in the process. This case is one of the first in legal history where the influence of artificial intelligence on a defendant’s decision to commit a crime is being investigated.

Chail obtained a ladder in preparation for his intended attack, and on December 21, 2021, he made a video of himself posing with a crossbow while wearing black clothing and a complete face mask.
