Chopped Into Several Pieces, A Crypto Influencer’s Body Was Found In a Suitcase

A cryptocurrency influencer from Argentina, Fernando Perez Algaba who had been missing for more than a week was found dead on wednesday. Mr. Algaba’s remains were found inside a suitcase near a stream in Argentinian capital Buenos Airesbased on the New York Post. A group of kids who were playing by the stream on Sunday discovered the red suitcase full of human parts, bringing attention to the disturbing case. The businessman has not been seen since July 19.

According to the Post, which cited local media, the parents of the children notified the police, who examined the package and discovered Mr. Algaba’s legs and forearms. In the creek, his other arm was discovered.
The missing head and torso were discovered by the police on Wednesday.

According to the site, they claimed that the body parts had been cleanly removed . They said the body parts were cleanly amputated, suggesting the work of a professional
The police sent the body for autopsy and the report revealed that Mr Algaba was shot three times before his body was chopped up.

Mr Algaba’s body was identified by his fingerprints and the distinctive tattoos on the body parts.

According to a Marca article, the self-made billionaire relocated from Miami to Barcelona where he was based. Before his suspected murder, he had been staying in Argentina for a week.

By leasing expensive cars and making money from bitcoin, Mr. Algaba amassed his wealth. He then flaunted his opulent lifestyle to his almost one million Instagram followers.
According to the site, the influencer had rented an apartment and was meant to return the keys on July 19. However, she did not show up as scheduled and did not answer the phone, so the landlord filed a missing person’s report.
The police have arrested one person in connection with Mr Algaba’s death and are investigating why he was killed. They, however, suspect that he was killed over his numerous debts.
