5 Must-Have Dishes On Eid
Pakistan has described the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission as a great scientific achievement for which ISRO scientists deserved appreciation, while the country’s top dailies lauded India for accomplishing the feat on a lower budget than wealthier nations.
During a press conference, Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch was asked to remark on the successful soft-landing of the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft on the Moon.
“I can only say that it is a great scientific achievement for which ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) scientists deserve appreciation”, she remarked briefly.
Among others who praised India was former Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry who praised the country for its accomplishment.
Many Pakistanis praised India for the achievement, while others criticized Pakistan’s lackluster record in space exploration, and even cracked jokes about its space organization, the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), which was established in 1961.
