“Be The Change, Make A Difference” – Diversity And Inclusion Debate At The House Of Commons Of The Parliament Of The United Kingdom

Yesterday, the House of Commons echoed the passionate discussions of an event organized by Asian Voice and Gujarat Samachar in association with the Royal Air Force. Titled ‘Be the Change, Make a Difference’, the event focused on diversity and inclusion and was held to recognize the efforts made by various individuals and groups in promoting this cause.

Anita Goyal MBE, a prominent figure, moderated the evening and was supported by a panel of distinguished guests which included Krishna Omkar, Dr. Zubiada Haque, and Dr. Amit Patel. During the event, the panelists discussed the current state of diversity and inclusion in the UK, the initiatives taken by the government, and the progress made in promoting the cause so far. They also shared and discussed their personal experiences regarding the challenges they faced in achieving their goals.

During the course of the debate, a number of high-profile figures discussed the challenges faced by people from diverse backgrounds when trying to gain access to the workplace and the importance of creating an inclusive and diverse working environment.

The chief guest of the event was Seema Malhotra, Labour MP for Feltham and Heston. In her address, she congratulated the organizers for bringing the debate and discussion to the House of Commons. She further expressed her happiness in being part of this inspiring event and shared her views on the importance of diversity and inclusion in the UK. She also highlighted the need for further action to take the cause forward.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks to all the participants for making the evening a success. It was a unique experience for all those present and a great platform to discuss the issues and challenges faced by different communities. It was a great example of the power of collaboration and how it could be used to promote diversity and inclusion.
