Barack Obama’s Personal Chef Discovered Dead Near Former President’s Residence

A personal chef for Barack Obama drowned in a paddle board accident near the former president’s residence on Martha’s Vineyard on Sunday.

Tafari Campbell, 45, was found dead in Edgartown Great Pond near the Obama house on the island’s southern coast, by Massachusetts State Police on Monday after a fellow paddleboarder reported he him missing in the water.

Despite the fact that emergency services were unable to locate him throughout the evening, his body was eventually located using sonar.

Obama and his wife, former first lady Michelle Obama, were not at home when the tragedy occurred.

Campbell worked as a sous chef at the White House during the Obama presidency and was hired after the Obamas left to join their home staff.

In a statement. former President stated, “He’s been part of our lives ever since, and our hearts are broken that he’s gone”.

“Today we join everyone who knew and loved Tafari – especially his wife Sherise and their twin boys, Xavier and Savin – in grieving the loss of a truly wonderful man”, Obama continued.

The Obamas bought the almost 7,000-square-foot estate on Martha’s Vineyard from Boston Celtics owner Wycliffe Grousbeck in 2021. The house is located next to a coastal pond that is separated from the Atlantic Ocean by a narrow barrier beach.
